On 11/29/2012, the OmniCloud team wins 1st place at the 4th German IT security award 2012. Michael Herfert, Thomas Kunz, René Palige and Ruben Wolf received the award on behalf of the OmniCloud team.
The German IT security award is the most prestigious award for applied IT security. Every two years, a jury of experts selects the best innovations in the fields of IT security, cryptography, system and network security including defense against cyber attacks. The prize is funded by the Horst Görtz foundation. The honorary patron is Michael Hange, president of the Federal Office for Security in Information Technology.
